Course for the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service

This training course is designed for the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (also referred to using the acronym “RSPP”). It provides the necessary knowledge to carry out the duties and take on the responsibilities associated with the role. The first two modules of the “RSPP” course are the same as the training course for the “Workers Assigned to the Prevention and Protection Service”.

- Course duration: there are three modules in the course: A B and C
- Module A: 28 hours, preparatory for access to other modules
- Module B: 48 hours, this module is the same for all sectors; the module is supplemented for certain manufacturing sectors for which further specific module is required. The main modulo B is preparatory for access to the specific supplementary courses for module B
- Module C: 24 hours (not including the learning tests)
- Frequency of refresher training: at least 40 hours in 5 years
- Classroom/e-learning: part of the course must be held in the classroom, there are some parts of the course that can be taken online
- Requirements: in order to take the course, it is necessary to have successfully completed secondary school education, at least.
- Certificate: at the end of the course and after passing the test, a certificate of attendance is issued

In view of the complexity of the subject matter and the course syllabus, the teachers, who are usually RSPPs themselves, are assisted by specific professional experts in order to achieve comprehensive training: psychologists, experts in communication, doctors and trade union representatives, for example.
